TERMS AND CONDITIONS

  • Classes and Instructors are subject to change.
  • Grip socks are required for every class.
  • If there are 2 or less persons signed up for a Group Class, Pilates One reserves the right to cancel the class. There will be no notice of the cancellation.
  • Strict 12-Hour Cancellation Policy.
  • All classes are 50 minutes long.
  • We accept credit cards only.
  • All sales are final.

DO YOU ACCEPT WALK-INS?

While we do accept walk-ins, you run the risk of not securing a spot. The best way to ensure your spot in a class is to make the reservation online on our website, download our app or through the MindBody app.

WHAT TYPE OF CLOTHING SHOULD I WEAR TO CLASS?

Comfortable clothing – Avoid bringing clothes with zippers or any type of metal-pocking.

DO I NEED TO WEAR SOCKS?

Yes, we are all about safety and require everyone to wear socks with grips. Regular socks will not be permitted since they can be slippery. If you don’t bring socks with grips for your class, you will need to purchase a pair of Pilates socks at our premises. No exceptions.

ARE ALL THE TEACHERS CERTIFIED?

Yes!

WHERE DO I PARK?

Metered street parking is available directly outside of the studio. We recommend clients use the Pay By Phone App. Our parking code is 40917. Please allow time to park. DO NOT PARK in the back of the building. The 3 designated “Pilates” parking spaces in the back of the building are for Staff and Private Session Clients only. Any unauthorized vehicle will be towed by building management without notice. We do not have a front desk and therefore cannot avoid this happening to you if you park in any spaces in the lot behind the building.

WHAT'S YOUR CLASS CANCELLATION POLICY?

We have a 12-hour cancellation policy. Meaning you have to cancel 12 hours before the start of your class. If you cancel within the 12-hour period, it will be considered a late cancellation. If you have a Membership with us please see our cancellation policy terms for your specific Membership.

Classes are non-refundable, exchangeable, or transferable.

To cancel a reservation: log into your MindBody profile or our Pilates One app, click on My schedule and click cancel next to the class you wish to cancel.

You can also email us at [email protected] or call the studio at 786-545-6889 to cancel a reservation.

I'M RUNNING LATE. WHAT HAPPENS?

Miami Traffic is difficult and we understand. If you are signed up for a class and are running late, you have a 5-minute window from the start time of the scheduled class to keep your reserved spot.

If you are over 5-minutes late, your spot may be given to a standby student.

To ensure the safety of our clients, if you have never tried Pilates before and are over 5-minutes late you will not be permitted to enter the class. We require that all new students receive a proper introduction to the instructor and equipment and suggest arriving 10-minutes before class begins. Thank you in advance for understanding!

I'M PREGNANT. IS IT SAFE TO TAKE PILATES CLASSES?

Yes! One of the many amazing benefits of Pilates is that it is low impact, making it a perfect fit for our active moms-to-be. However, some factors may affect your workouts; for example: Age, health history, and current baby/mom health status.

If you are in a healthy pregnancy: You are able to attend most of our Reformer Classes Except Jump Board Reformer. 

Because we take the well-being of our clients and their loved ones to heart, and should you have any questions or concerns, we are here for you with anything you need.  We offer a 15-minute complimentary personal evaluation or 50% off a 1-hour private session with any of our highly trained teachers to guide you in the right direction for you and baby. IF I HAVE AN INJURY CAN I TAKE A GROUP CLASS?

We really take care of our New Clients and everyone is different. Depending on the severity of your injury, you may want to start with Private Sessions.

WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN A PRIVATE SESSION & DUET PRIVATE SESSION?

A Duet Private Session is where 2 people can take a Private session together! Each person will need to purchase a Duet Private Session pricing option. HOW LONG ARE PRIVATE SESSIONS?

Our Private Sessions are 50 minutes. 

WHAT HAPPENS IF I CANCEL MY CLASS LESS THAN 12 HOURS BEFORE THE CLASS STARTS?

We have a strict 12-hour cancellation policy. This means you have to cancel 12 hours before the start of your class. If you cancel within the 12-hour period, it will be considered a late cancellation. If you have a Membership with us, please see our cancellation policy terms for your specific Membership on our MEMBERSHIPS page!

ARE ALL THE CLASSES BY LEVELS?

No, our classes are not by levels. All of our teachers are certified and know how to cue beginners, intermediate and advanced clients in our classes. We are a boutique studio and our classes are small so we have the ability to give more attention individually. 

CAN I BRING A FRIEND WITH ME TO A GROUP CLASS?

If you have a Membership with us, one of the perks is you are able to bring in a buddy for free! Your buddy will need to create an account just like you have and a written notice to [email protected] the request to bring in that buddy. 

YOU'RE ON A WAITLIST. WHAT HAPPENS?

If you are on the waiting list for a class and a spot becomes available, the first person on the waitlist will be automatically moved into the class but will stop automatically adding clients 2 hours before the class start time. This ensures that clients from the waitlist will have enough notice to make it to the class on time. If you have been added to the class from the waitlist, the system sends you an email and/or text letting you know about this change.

I’M NEW AND HAVE NEVER DONE PILATES BEFORE. CAN I TAKE A CLASS?

Yes, you can take a class but if you have never done pilates before we highly recommend you do a private session prior so we can introduce you to the equipment and you can understand if you have any injuries and what specific goals you have. We will let you know what modifications you will need to do to strengthen before weakening.

IF I'M A BEGINNER, WHICH CLASS SHOULD I START WITH?

Reformer Pilates (TONE+STRETCH) An open level class focused on developing precision and understanding the mechanics of pilates.

IS MY FIRST CLASS FREE?

We do not offer any complimentary/free classes. We have several New Client Specials you can take advantage of any 1 of them.

IS THERE A COMMITMENT PERIOD FOR THE ULTIMATE MEMBERSHIPS?

Yes, we have a 3-month commitment period for all of our Memberships. After the 3-month period, all Memberships auto-renew. Find out more on our MEMBERSHIPS page!

WHAT IF I NEED TO CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP WITHIN THE 3-MONTH COMMITMENT?

If you wish to early terminate/cancel your monthly membership prior to completing the 3 months, you must submit a written notification 30 days prior to your last billing date and a $150 early termination fee applies. All written notices and/or requests must be submitted to [email protected].

CAN I UPGRADE/DOWNGRADE MY MEMBERSHIP?

ALL Memberships can be upgraded/downgraded with a 15-day written notice from your billing date. Upgrades/downgrades count as a new Membership 3-month commitment.

CAN I FREEZE MY MEMBERSHIP?

If you are traveling and won’t be able to use all your classes for your cycle, you can freeze! One of the Membership perks is that you get 1 free freeze per calendar year! And when your membership unfreezes, the system prorates your cycle to add on the days not used so that you always get your “month’s” worth to use all of your classes. All other freeze requests are subject to a $45 fee.

A written notice to [email protected] is required at least 15 days before the date you wish to begin the freeze. Each freeze request can be no longer than 90 days.

CAN I SHARE MY MEMBERSHIP WITH A FRIEND OR FAMILY MEMBER?

No, all Ultimate Memberships cannot be sold, shared, or transferred at any time. 

ARE THERE ANY SHARING PACKAGES?

Our 20 Studio Group Session Package (12-month exp.) can be shared with 1 other family member.

WHAT’S THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN MEMBERSHIPS & PACKAGES?

The Ultimate Memberships are monthly, recurring, payments with discounted pricing for each class and you get additional perks with each Membership! Our Studio Group Class Packages are a 1 time purchase and you may use the number of classes in that particular pack, within the respective expiration date. 

ULTIMATE MEMBERSHIP

The Ultimate Monthly Membership is offered for $199, $289, or $349 per month with a 3-month commitment.

  • ALL Memberships have one class per day limit. Any additional class is subjected to a $10 fee.
  • ALL Memberships have an automatic payment renewal monthly, for 3 months, unless request for early termination. Please see the terms for early termination. 
  • ALL Memberships automatically renew every 3 months unless notified with a written cancellation requesting your membership not auto-renew for another 3 months, 30 days prior to your 3rd month’s billing date.
  • If you do not show up to cancel or cancel before the 12-hour period, there is a $20 late cancellation fee for a missed/late/no-show reserved class. Classes do NOT get added back in any of our Memberships. Classes do not roll over in any Membership.
  • Classes do not roll over in any Membership.
  • 1 Freeze/Hold per calendar year at no charge, additional holds are subject to a $45 fee. Please send us an email at least 15 days in advance.
